Fish Kuzhambhu


Notes:
Serves - 2

Ingredients: 
  1. Fish (Your Choice) - 1/4 kg
  2. Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  3. Coriander Powder - 1/4 tsp
  4. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Tamarind  - As Needed
  6. Salt - As Needed
  7. Shredded Coconut - 1 cup
  8. Shallots (small onion) - 2
  9. Green Chilli - 1
  10. Water - As Needed
  11. Curry Leaves - 8

Directions:
Slit the green chillies in to two.
Peel and cut the shallots in to 4 pieces.
Cut the Fish in to small or medium sized pieces.

Heat 1 cup of water in a Pan on medium heat.
Add all the ingredients EXCEPT Fish, Tamarind and Curry Leaves.
Stir the contents to and mix well.

Now add the Fish in to the pan and add water until the fish just gets immersed in water.
Do not stir too much as the fish may shred in to smaller pieces.
Bring the entire contents to boil and let it boil until the fish is cooked.

Add Tamarind and Curry Leaves.
Let it boil for another 1 or 2 minutes and then take off heat.
